This footage is astonishing. The filmmaker did a great job of capturing the horrible effects the terrorist attacks had on the entire city. What caught my attention was all the papers flying in the air and covering the streets. In a way, it symbolizes that a powerful American building was lost. The papers represent the work of all the employees in the World Trade Centers. Monumental buildings and sincere souls were lost that morning. It also stood out to me how all the passerbys were so effected. Many people were crying and screaming, and most people stopped to watch the seemingly unbelieveable sight. Everybody stopping what they were doing and ignoring their busy days' errands symbolized how great of an impact 9/11 had on citizens of New York, a fast-paced environment, and the citizens of the U.S.
viewing this footage shows that 9/11 has really changed America through secuirty and flight mostly. I feel our security before 9/11 was to care free. By this I mean there were footgage of people walking through scanners without being searched. scanners would go off without stopping or cheking anyone of a weapon of some sort. Security now has stepped their game up after the 9/11 incident by equipping cockpit doors with scanner and the "no fly list. looking back at all the things we did not do it shows how in ways 9/11 could have been avoided. All of the glitches in our national security system is coming to the light.
The video is so astonishing.It was so scary to watch the actual video of the planes crashing into the twin towers.I felt as if I was there.To actually see other people's reactions to the attacks was very interesting.At one point I can recall someone screaming really loud and crying when the second plane crashed. It startled me. To see the victims actually jumping out of windows to escape the fire was scary. In the video you can see people being very scared. The ambulance took so long to come. The whole video consists of people jumping out of the building,people crying,and the twin towers burning to the ground. The video is so sad.To see America change so quickly in less than a hour is so heartbreaking.
