This is one of my favorites too! This commercial aims to make viewers laugh, thus appealing to emotion (pathos). Several ads also make appeals to varying emotions from comical to sympathetic. I think that commercials with "mini-stories" such as this one, are very effective. They're different, and leave a lasting impression on the viewer.
This commercial is very funny. The little boy is so serious. This really made my night. This commercial shows little kids that they can scare their parents' dates lol.
